Pickleball
Palencia hosts four brand new courts on our Fitness Center property located at 1865 North Loop Pkwy. They are open seven days a week from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm. All residents have access to the courts, but you do need to have an account within our system in Court Reserve. To create an account, you need to visit the Fitness Center with your Amenity Card. Each resident has an individual account.
Open Play
Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9:00 am-11:00 am, 6:00 pm-8:00 pm, and Saturday from 9:00 am-11:00 am.
Open Play is for Intermediate and Advanced Players.

Darcy Miller
PPR Certified Pickleball Coach | 2023-Present
Coach Darcy, a native Californian, has been in Jacksonville for nearly 40 years. Darcy was recently certified as a Pickleball Instructor which accompanies his coaching certifications in other sports such as softball, football, basketball, and hockey. With extensive knowledge and experience, Darcy has positively impacted the lives of countless athletes throughout his coaching career. Darcy is a family man, married for 35 years to Paula, parents of 2 beautiful young women, and grandparents to 3! He is a successful local business owner and an avid Jaguars fan!
Coach Darcy is teaching our weekly Pickleball clinics and is available for private, semi-private and group lessons.
